Sibiu's national theatre, founded in 1788 and one of the oldest stages in Romania, home of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival. Its flagship productions, including Silviu Purcărete's monumental Faust, play in the historic hall and at the Fabrica de Cultură performance space.
