These terms govern your use of wemeo (“wemeo”, “we”, “us”), a service for discovering communities, places and events in cities across Romania, saving the ones you like, and getting reminders before they start. By using wemeo you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What wemeo is
wemeo helps you discover communities, places and events near you, add the ones you like to your list, and get a reminder before the events you pick start. We are a directory and reminder service — we do not ourselves organise the events. Events and groups are run by the communities, places and organisers listed; we link to their groups, pages and websites.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use wemeo.
3. Your account
You sign in with Apple or with a code sent to your email address. You're responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity that happens under it. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use wemeo for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent;
- harass, spam, impersonate, or abuse other people or communities;
- submit false, misleading, or infringing content;
- scrape, copy, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Content you submit
If you submit a community, place, or event, you confirm you have the right to do so and grant wemeo a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content within the service and its updates. We may review, edit, or remove submissions at our discretion.
6. Updates & messages
When you subscribe, you agree to receive updates by email. You can change the delivery preferences, pause, or unsubscribe at any time in the app.
7. Third-party services
wemeo links to and integrates with third-party services (the organisers’ own groups, Instagram pages, ticketing sites and websites). We are not responsible for those services, their content, availability, or their handling of your data — your use of them is governed by their own terms.
8. Disclaimers
wemeo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Event details (times, locations, availability) come from organisers and may change or be inaccurate — please confirm with the organiser before you go. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, wemeo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for events, communities, places, or third parties listed on or linked from the service.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and any disputes are subject to the competent courts of Romania.
