One of Transylvania's oldest film festivals, ALTER-NATIVE is an international short-film competition held each autumn at the Palace of Culture in Târgu Mureș. Alongside the shorts, editions bundle in feature screenings, theatre, concerts and museum programmes for a lively multi-arts week.
